EFFECTIVE / 16 AUGUST 2026

This website is designed to collect as little personal information as possible. It does not use analytics, advertising technology, tracking pixels, or non-essential cookies.

Registered office: Hauptstrasse 41, 6315 Oberägeri, Switzerland.

2. Information processed

Website delivery and security

When you visit, the companies that host and deliver the website may automatically process technical request data such as your IP address, date and time, requested page, referring page, and browser or device information. This is standard server-log data used to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the site.

Email enquiries

If you email SLC, we process the information you provide—such as your name, contact details, organisation, and message—to respond, discuss possible services, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations.

Decision prompt

Text entered in the interactive decision prompt on the home page is processed only inside your browser. The site does not transmit or store that text.

3. European privacy statement

Where the EU GDPR or UK GDPR applies, SLC relies on legitimate interests to operate and secure this informational business website and to respond to professional enquiries; on steps requested before entering a contract or performance of a contract where applicable; and on legal obligations for required records. SLC balances legitimate interests against visitor rights and uses a data-minimised site design.

Individuals covered by European data-protection law may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and portability, as well as the right to withdraw consent where consent applies and to complain to their competent supervisory authority.

4. Swiss privacy statement

Where the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) applies, SLC processes personal data transparently, proportionately, and only for the purposes described in this notice. SLC applies appropriate organisational and technical measures and provides information about cross-border disclosures as described below.

Individuals may have rights under the FADP to request information about their personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion or restriction where applicable, and data portability in qualifying cases. Concerns may also be raised with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

CURRENT STATUS: NO SITE COOKIES

The website code does not set cookies and does not use local storage, session storage, analytics, advertising pixels, cross-site tracking, or behavioural advertising. Because no non-essential cookies are used, the site does not display a consent banner.

CategoryUsed by this site?Purpose
AnalyticsNoNo audience measurement or behaviour tracking.
AdvertisingNoNo targeted advertising, profiling, sale, or sharing for advertising.
Preference storageNoThe site does not save preferences in the browser.
Strictly necessary hosting technologyHost-dependentA hosting or security provider may use essential delivery or security mechanisms under its own infrastructure settings.

If optional analytics, embedded media, or advertising technology is added later, SLC will update this notice and obtain prior consent where required before activating it.

6. Service providers and external links

  • The website host and network providers process technical request data to make the site available and secure.
  • The Experience page retrieves D3, TopoJSON, and world-map files from the jsDelivr content delivery network. jsDelivr therefore receives the technical data required to answer that file request, including your IP address.
  • LinkedIn is an ordinary external link, not an embedded social plug-in. No LinkedIn request is made by this site until you choose the link. SLC suppresses referrer details on that link.
  • Your email provider and SLC's email provider process information when you choose to send an email.

These providers may process information in countries outside Switzerland, the European Economic Area, or your state or country. Their own privacy terms and the safeguards applicable to their services govern that processing.

7. Retention

The decision prompt is not retained. Hosting and network logs are retained according to the relevant provider's security and operational settings. SLC retains enquiry and business correspondence only for as long as needed to respond, manage a potential or existing business relationship, protect legal claims, and satisfy applicable accounting or other legal retention duties. Data is then deleted or anonymised when reasonably practicable.

8. Exercising your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability; to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; and to complain to a competent data-protection authority. You may also have the right to know the categories and sources of personal information, the purposes and recipients, and to appeal a denied request.

Send requests to info@swisslogisticsconsulting.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. SLC may need proportionate information to verify your identity. To appeal a denied U.S. state privacy request, reply with “Privacy appeal.” SLC will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

9. U.S. privacy statement

In the preceding 12 months, the website may have collected the categories of identifiers and internet or electronic network activity described in Section 2. They are used for website delivery, security, enquiry handling, and business administration and may be disclosed to the service providers described in Section 6 for those purposes.

SLC does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, use it for targeted advertising, or knowingly process sensitive personal information through this website. SLC therefore does not provide a “Do Not Sell or Share” link. Global Privacy Control signals do not change the site's operation because the site performs no sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising processing to opt out of.

10. Children

This business-to-business website is not directed to children, and SLC does not knowingly collect personal information from children through it.

11. Changes

SLC will revise this notice when the website's data practices materially change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
